Job Description

This role is offered at Investment Manager, Senior Investment Manager or Associate Director level, depending on experience.

Join Arbuthnot Latham’s Investment Management team and play a key role in delivering tailored, high quality investment solutions to high net worth clients. We are open to candidates from Investment Manager through to Associate Director level, depending on experience, and this role offers the opportunity to manage discretionary portfolios, build trusted client relationships and contribute to a distinctive investment offering.

A defining part of our model is a centralised investment process, with Investment Managers working closely with our Research team to shape and refine our core strategies. This creates consistency in decision making while also giving individuals real input into portfolio construction and client outcomes. The strength of this approach is reflected in our long term performance, with our strategies ranked top quartile by ARC over 10 years.

The business has also grown strongly and organically, with funds under management and administration increasing from £1.15bn in 2020 to £2.68bn in 2025. This growth reflects the quality of our investment approach, the trust clients place in us and the opportunity to join a business with real momentum.

In this role, you will manage portfolios of varying complexity, turning investment insight into well governed decisions aligned with client objectives, risk profiles and time horizons. For more experienced candidates, the role also offers the opportunity to lead complex client relationships, contribute to investment thinking and play a broader part in shaping client strategy and outcomes.

For candidates joining at a more senior level, there is also scope to take on wider people leadership responsibility across the Investment Management team, including supporting colleagues, helping to drive client outcomes and contributing to the continued development of our offering. Working closely with Private Bankers, Wealth Planners and colleagues across the firm, you will combine technical expertise with sound judgement and clear communication to deliver a high standard of service.

We are looking for someone who combines strong investment discipline with a relationship led approach, and who brings credibility, professionalism and a genuine commitment to client outcomes. In return, you will join a collaborative and high performing team with a strong track record, a distinctive investment process and a platform to grow your impact over time.
